Review: [OST] Original Pure Vitamin C-20 Serum

Lets get the party started with some fun loving vitamin C! What is a healthy paradise on your face without it, not to mention that youthful wonder vitamin K and lovely vitamin E. Boyyy, vitamin B3 and A don't feel left out, we love you too! 

Putting Vitamin C on the DJ decks tonight, he can tell you he's been mixing tracks since daayyyy. Haha, ok what is wrong with me, lets get cracking. 

Vitamin C benefits the skin how?

·                It is key to the production of collagen which gives the skin its firmness and strength

·                It is a antioxidant which helps reduce skin damage due to free radicals 

O.S.T- a brand from Korea, have come out with this Original Pore Vitamin C-20 Serum, packed with 20% of pure vitamin C. I purchased this product online from Wishtrend.com for 24.99 USD, which was £17.26 at the exchange rate at the time of purchase. I was very excited to try this product out as I heard a lot of great reviews on it. It was the best selling item of Nov 2012 and April 2013 (and i'm guessing the period in-between ) in the beauty & sports category on the online Asian shopping website Qoo10.  One of my good friends also expressed her joy through use of this serum and how she saw a big shrinkage in the size of her pores, you can check her review on it [here]. So you can see why I was so keen to try it out myself.

Did it live up to my expectations?

Yes! :)

As you can see, Original Pure Vitamin C-20 Serum comes beautifully packaged in this bright orange metallic box. Great packaging is always a hot selling point for me. Hey.. I said packaging, not package! Steer your mind away :P Inside the box, there is a neatly sealed pipette, which is used for easily retrieving the serum into the palm of your hand. 

After cleansing my face, I use 5 drips of this serum and pat it all over my face avoiding my eye area. Initially you do get a slight stinging sensation on application, but this is nothing to worry about as I was foretold. It smells just like oranges and if you get a bit on your lips and have an accidental lick, it also tastes like tangy oranges too :)

Revitalize and Remove dead skin cells

I saw my skin brighten after using the serum, my skin definitely looks more fresh!

Whitens skin, and recovers the trouble scar

I have been using this serum most evenings for 2 months and I have seen a remarkable fade in my spot scars and these are scars that have been on my face for at least 3 years. They appear much more lighter than before which I am very pleased about, hopefully after a few more months usage of this serum, they will be faded completely! :D

Remove blackheads 

I am finding fewer blackheads to squeeze these days, I guess this is the reason why!

Tighten pores

You can actually feel this product firming up your skin after applying, the serum will 'dry out' on the surface of your skin and I get the sensation as though my skin is being drawn closer together. With a layer of moisturizer applied on top of this serum, you are good to go, or in my case, good to sleep! :)

I must say I am impressed! Original Pure Vitamin C-20 Serum stays true to its word, it has gained my trust right there! I am now intrigued to try out the other products that OST recommends to use in conjunction with this serum which are: [OST] The First Boosting Essence and [OST] Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema. My product buying fingers are itching!
