[Ciracle] Repairing Snail V3 Cream

Ok, so it seems I am abit behind... But I have heard that the latest hype on the Korean beauty market is skincare containing snail mucus extract! That's right, snail gunk!!

I Purchased Ciracle's snail cream online from Wishtrend, you can have a look at my blog [here]. It was retailed for $33.99, which was £21.92 at the exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Ciracle Repairing Snail V3 Cream contains 5% of snail mucus extract, but the question is..

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PUT SNAIL GOO ON YOUR FACE???

It turns out the Koreans weren't the first to slap on the slime, using snail mucus extract dates as far back as the ancient Greeks, when they used snail mucus to heal wounds and to treat inflamed skin.

Snail mucus is rich in protein, glycolic acids and elastin, when used on the skin it has various benefits:

1.     It speeds up cell regeneration

2. Aids the healing process
Snail mucus helps acne healing, it helps reduce the redness of blemishes.

3. It has anti-ageing properties
Snail mucus is a super moisturizer, not only does it moisturize the outer layer of the skin it
penetrates within and moisturizes the inner layer, this in turn hydrates the skin, which prevents
the skin from wrinkling. Snail mucus also helps activate the collagen and elastin production in
the skin, which prevents the skin from sagging.

4. Protects the skin against harmful UV rays

Ciracle repairing cream also contains a range of other ingredients including rosehip seed
extract, manderin extract, green tea extract to name a few
Initially when I applied this product, I stuck my finger in and scooped a big dob of the cream out and slapped it on my face. BIG MISTAKE, this product should be used sparingly, as in remember: a little goes a long way! I felt as though I had smeared Utterly Butterly all over my face, lovely! Only use just enough of the product to cover your face. This moisturizer is very rich!

After applying the cream on the following day, I noticed that even when I used as little as I can, I still found the moisturizer very heavy. I have combination skin and even my dry areas were feeling 'slimey', for this reason, I would only use this product at night time, or when you are having one of those lazy days of staying in the house aaaaalll day. (Lemme hear a whu-whaaut. :D )

Having snail mucus extract in this product, you may expect this cream to be sticky, but it is not sticky at all, so, sorry to say you will have to abandon your ambitions of using your face to climb up walls xD I also found this product to have a very clean scent, it is not too perfumed as some creams are, which I like about this product.

To sum things up:

Pros:
·                Skin is left noticeably softer after use.

Cons:
·                'Slimey' face after application.
·                A very heavy moisturizer, I prefer my lighter moisturizers.
If you are curious about this product, I would defiantly give it a go! I have no major complaints with the product. Regarding the thickness of the cream, it is nice to occasionally switch between my lighter moisturizers to mix things up a bit, especially if this product claims to have anti-ageing properties... But I guess time will tell on that part!
Ciracle repairing snail V3 cream can be purchased on their website [here] it also contains a list of the main ingredients in the product.

Product Rating- 7/10
